Michael Barry

Founder and President

Michael has more than three decades of experience at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). He worked for firms such as A.G. Becker, A.G. Edwards, Lehman Brothers, and First Options of Chicago, and acquired over 22 years of experience in a variety of customer service positions. He has held titles ranging from floor manager to vice president and has many years of participation at the committee level with the CBOE. Michael has spent several successful years as a market maker and independent floor broker. During this time, Michael received his M.S. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Financial Markets and Trading.

Since 1988, Michael has focused exclusively on serving Institutional Clients. This experience and perspective gives him a unique insight to the needs of these special customers, as well as an in-depth knowledge of solutions to be found with the opportunities a trading floor provides.

Dave Koehler

C.F.O.

Dave is the C.F.O for MEB Options and has been with the firm since November of 2003.

Dave has been in the Options industry since 1975. He has extensive experience in the back office, customer service and CBOE floor operations. His past experience has been with First Options, the Options Clearing Corporation, Alaron Futures and Options and other firms. He was also a CBOE Market Maker.

Dave is currently registered with the National Futures Association and has the Series 3, 4, 7, 24, and 27 FINRA Securities registrations.

Joseph Gniady

Floor Manager and Institutional Clerk

Joseph has over 20 years of experience in the financial field, serving customers in positions ranging from floor manager to vice president at firms such as First Options of Chicago, Mesirow Financial, and Knight Financial.

Joseph carries Series 4, 7, and 24 Registrations. He earned his degree in Business Management from Northeastern University. Joe believes in working closely with customers to understand their unique needs. With his many years of experience and broad base of contacts both on and off the floor, Joe helps MEB achieve its goal of providing liquidity for customers in all market conditions.

Elizabeth Murphy

Floor Manager and Institutional Clerk

Elizabeth brings almost 20 years of CBOE equity floor experience, working at Lehman Bros. for 13 years at positions ranging from Floor Broker to Floor Manager. Throughout her time Elizabeth has developed the ability to handle all market conditions. She joined MEB from Lehman Bros. as their first call on the CBOE floor. She carries a Series 3 and 7, and holds a B.A. in Business Administration from The University of St. Francis in Joliet.

William Zolpe

SPX Floor Broker

"Wilbur" is the most recent addendum to the MEB team. He has more than 25 years of CBOE experience as a clerk and a floor broker. He has work for firms such as Miller Tabak Hirsch and Associated Options. He is looking forward to the opportunity of working with our institutional SPX clients.

Robert Pickert

SPX Floor Broker and Institutional Clerk

Robert has almost 20 years experience with the Chicago Board Options Exchange, first as a clerk in the OEX pits. In the last 10 years, he has held positions with Associated Options, O'Connor and Co. and Miller Tabak Hirsch, dealing exclusively with institutional clients. During this time he developed an in-depth understanding of the trading floor, earned his Series 3 and 7 Registrations, and sharpened his relationships with his clients

Jason Seidel

Institutional Clerk

Jason brings almost 10 years of experience to the MEB desk. Before joining MEB, he worked in the financial industry five years for Prudential Securities. He has spent the last three years working for institutional clients. His proficiency and reliability has made him a true asset to our clients.Jason holds a Series 3 and 7 Registrations.

Timothy Igaly

Institutional Clerk

"Igy" brings almost 15 years of option experience to MEB. While holding an AVP title for Prudential Institutional, he filled the positions of clerk and floor broker. He has a keen awareness of the needs of his clients and a strong ability to proactively find CBOE order flow. He as proved to be true asset on the desk.

Ronnie Bradford

Operations Clerk

Ronnie began working at the CBOE in May 2000 as a price reporter, and was later hired by Lehman Bros. in Dec. 2000 as a clerk. Ronnie is currently a part time student at Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Ronnie specializes in data entry, trade checking and clerking at MEB.

George Moran

Operations Manager

George has 20+ years of experience at the CBOE involving back office operations including CBOE clearance and trade settlement. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Degree of Bachelor of Sciences.

George Stafford

Floor Broker

George has over 25 years experience on the Chicago Board Options Exchange - 18 of those years as a floor broker. He attended Marquette University and received his B.A in Finance. George has worked for First Options of Chicago, Mesirow Financial, and Knight Financial.

At First Options of Chicago George managed the retail CBOE floor operation. In 1990 George moved on to handling institutional accounts as a floor broker. He has been dealing with institutional needs as a floor broker ever since. George's understanding of the market and institutional customers allows Multiple Exchange Brokers, Inc. to execute orders at the best price available.

Alex Lugo

Sales

Alex has worked on both the AMEX and CBOE. He has worked as an independent market maker as well as an out-source trader for hedge funds. He holds a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and has a Series 7 registration.

Thom Avgeris

Marketing Manager

Thom began his brokerage career at A.G. Becker in 1969 and has been with MEB Options for 3 years. His expertise in clearing operations and broker dealer services includes establishing self clearing stock and options facilities in Chicago and New York. Additionally, Thom has provided correspondent sales and consulting services to brokerage firms and trading operations in Canada and Europe.
